EcoPar Bio is a 100% bio-based diesel fuel that is both practically and technically suitable for use in diesel-powered vehicles. It is produced from slaughterhouse waste and residues from oilseed crops. The fuel is guaranteed to be free from palm oil and PFAD (palm fatty acid distillate).
EcoPar Bio can reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 92% compared to conventional petroleum-based diesel.
As EcoPar Bio is a paraffinic diesel fuel, it also significantly reduces emissions of soot and toxic hydrocarbons. Carcinogenic components in the exhaust emissions are reduced by more than 90%.
EcoPar Bio is chemically stable, providing excellent storage and thermal stability. According to the product data sheet, the fuel does not cause deposits on fuel injectors or diesel pumps and does not adversely affect seals or fuel hoses.
The fuel performs at temperatures as low as –35°C.
EcoPar Bio is well suited for applications where exposure to exhaust emissions is difficult to avoid, such as construction and demolition, road and tunnel construction, warehousing and waste management.
The fuel is non-toxic to aquatic organisms, making it particularly suitable for use near water protection areas, nature reserves and other environmentally sensitive locations.
